Our firm, led by Mr. Sapp, has represented multiple builders, developers, and hotel companies to acquire land and obtain entitlements for single and multi-family residential, retail, and hotel projects in northern and central California.
Major long-term assignments include being the outsourced real estate acquisitions manager and exclusive broker, respectively, for Costco Wholesale Corporation and Jiffy Lube International; Vice President, Land Acquisition for the Fresno division of D. R. Horton, Inc.; and operating his own homebuilding company.
His career started with the family construction company, where as a third generation builder, he rose from job superintendent to head of all construction and development operations for a bi-state commercial developer and homebuilder operating in California and Hawaii.
In total, over his career, Mr. Sapp has been responsible for the success of retail projects encompassing over 2.4 million square feet, 8 restaurants, and for over 6,300 residential units of various densities.
He is heavily involved in regional planning and political activities, including being in the past a member of the City of Carmel–by-the-Sea Design Review Board and Del Mar Specific Plan Task Force. He was a participant on the Water for Monterey County Coalition (Formerly the Regional Plenary Oversight Group), which developed the “Regional Plan” for a solution to the region’s water shortage for the California Public Utilities Commission’s Office of Ratepayer Advocacy. He has also worked with the City of Carmel–by-the-Sea to develop an economic revitalization scheme for the city’s business district.
